Suyeong’s mother receives a monthly payment of one million won tied to a debt from years ago. After losing contact with the people responsible, Suyeong continues her life without knowing how closely connected her future will become to them. She is transferred to a new content team and meets her manager, Tae-eun, a man she had previously seen in a public scandal. Both are linked by a past they did not choose and a shared burden. They attempt to remain distant, but it is unclear how long they can avoid confronting their connection.
