A woman from a cosmetics company, Seung-ah, took part in a team project at the Seojin Hotel contest but was eliminated in the preliminary round. She and her colleagues, having worked hard, arranged a meeting with hotel officials. Upon learning of a past connection between Seung-ah and Seo Jin-hyung, the hotel’s heir, they placed their hopes on her. In college, Seung-ah had unrequited feelings for Jin-hyung but avoided pursuing them due to a painful breakup. For the sake of her company, she mustered the courage to reach out to him, expecting rejection. Instead, Jin-hyung agreed to meet and greeted her warmly. During their meeting, he referenced the contest and confessed his feelings for her. Seung-ah is left confused by his sudden declaration, especially from a wealthy man with no apparent reason to pursue her.
