A man is pulled into an unfamiliar world and spends three decades convinced he is living inside a standard fantasy RPG. He rises to fame as a hero of war, steps back into retirement, and waits for the story to reach its conclusion. Instead he learns that those thirty years amounted to nothing more than a prologue, and that the actual narrative is only starting, apparently centred on an academy.
