Propeller Opera

A young woman, the first Imperial princess, commands a heavy aerial destroyer named "Ibuki" in the Far Eastern archipelago of Hinoo. Her crew admires her, but their dynamic shifts with the arrival of Kuroto, a new crew member. He is a member of the Kuronomiya house, a branch of the Imperial family, and a childhood friend of the princess. Kuroto was previously expelled for deserting to the enemy nation, the United States of Gameria. Upon seeing him, the princess reacts with anger, but Kuroto explains he has returned to help Hinoo by confronting the monsters controlled by Gameria.
