Pupipo!

A fifth-grade girl named Wakaba can see supernatural entities that others cannot, mostly malevolent spirits that harm those close to her. This ability isolates her, leaving her friendless and rarely smiling. She occasionally takes in stray animals, but her parents refuse to let her keep them. Concerned about her loneliness and odd behavior, they promise to accept whatever she brings home next. Wakaba returns with a pink creature named Pupipo, and her parents honor their word. Though its nature is unclear, Pupipo shields her from the supernatural threats she encounters. It also helps her connect with a new student interested in the occult and address issues of bullying. With Pupipo by her side, Wakaba begins to experience a more positive life.
