Pure Trance
·ピュア・トランス
After the Third World War, people abandoned Earth's poisoned surface and established an underground city for survival. A major issue in this new society is hyperorexia, extreme overeating caused by the "Pure Trance" life-supporting pill. The narrative unfolds in a hospital now under the control of the authoritarian director, Keiko Yamazaki. The story features elements such as physical confrontations between women, expeditions into alien environments, and unethical scientific procedures. It also follows a young woman aspiring to become a pop idol.
