Princess Sol in the Nak-Rang Kingdom is destined to be used as a political pawn upon reaching maturity, following the same path as her older sister, who died after being manipulated in this way. Feeling isolated and powerless, Sol is told by a mysterious medium that her greatest desire lies beyond the palace walls. She later encounters a weak boy named Mi-Ru at a slave market and feels an urge to rescue him. Mi-Ru soon becomes her only source of comfort, but keeping him safe from her malevolent brother proves difficult.
