During the National Local Mascot Festival, children encounter various local mascots, but it soon becomes evident that the beings inside the costumes are not human and have a craving for human flesh. As the situation spirals into chaos nationwide, Keigo Ayahara, his younger brother Makoto, and their friend Ako struggle to survive and retain their humanity.
