Fifty years after the Korean War, mysterious Demon World Gates emerged globally, allowing impervious demon creatures to invade and devastate the world. Modern weapons proved useless against them, leaving humanity on the brink of extinction. A glimmer of hope arose with the awakening of the "Masters," beings representing humanity's last chance for survival. This led to rapid global changes. Fifty years later, Gang Kyu Sung, a low-level employee at a small company who has never experienced success or promotion, unexpectedly awakens as a Master. Initially ranked fifth and previously overlooked, he begins a journey of ascension from the bottom.
