Murgenia is a continent where ancient magic persists, untouched by the Scientific Revolution. The region is governed by sword and sorcery, and a fragile peace is nearing collapse. In the north, the kingdom of Zarmine has risen under a new king driven by a hunger for power. His ambitions lead to the formation of the Dark Army, which launches invasions across the land. One of the targeted nations is Sunkwoll, a small country in the southwest. With military strength far inferior to larger states, Sunkwoll's soldiers grow uncertain. The ruling king lavishes the nobility while neglecting the people's needs. The fate of Sunkwoll appears to be on the brink of ruin.
