Rakuda Tsukai to Ouji no Yoru

A boy named An lives in a household filled with conflict, numbing his emotions in water and showing no desire for love, seen as cold by others. Usami, the illegitimate son of a wealthy businessman, treats relationships superficially, discarding those who grow attached to him. Both struggle with emotional distance and the burden of unreciprocated feelings. In another story, Kamel, a fair-skinned boy in a caravan, suffers from frequent fevers and loneliness despite having a camel named Sadiku. He discovers an unconscious man in the desert, setting off an unknown connection. A separate narrative explores a strained blood relationship where unspoken emotions fester, involving a forbidden bond between brothers. Another follows Ataru Koganei, a high schooler, and his complex connection to the actor Shuu Kanai. Additional chapters feature characters from these stories, including the Makino brothers.
