A 26-year-old single salaryman named Fumihiko Matsumaru invites a woman to the movies but is left waiting. On the verge of discarding his tickets, a young woman asks him not to waste them. After spending time together watching the film and having dinner, he walks her home to find her apartment on fire. With no other place to go, 20-year-old new voice actress Aka Onda moves in with Matsumaru. The two begin a close but undefined relationship, facing various challenges. The first volume includes a two-part story called "Silver Street Romance," in which one girl confesses to another, who then introduces her to her (annoying) brother, who resembles her. The situation leads to complications for the girl and the brother.
