In a post-pandemic world, Sakutaro, a graduate student, feels disconnected from the changes around him. His life shifts when he is unexpectedly named "History's Mentalist" by an emissary of Buddha. As he interacts with notable historical figures, he discovers their imperfections, prompting him to reflect on his own life and actions. Facing trials from both history and the modern era, Sakutaro must navigate these challenges while reevaluating his place in the world.
