Common blood types like A, B, AB, and O are well known, but there also exist rarer varieties referred to as "hidden blood types." People with these are known as "strangebloods" and possess extraordinary abilities derived from their blood. When these different blood types converge, they are said to produce the fabled "Blood of Wisdom," a substance believed to grant immense power. Because of this, several dangerous individuals are seeking to obtain it. Chiaki Kaminaga and his companion Kaguya Daidouji find themselves caught in this pursuit as they attempt to survive the ensuing conflict.
