Childhood friends Yuu and Asa once shared a close bond, but their relationship begins to shift when Yuu realizes his feelings for Asa extend beyond friendship. As their dynamic changes, Yuu becomes uncertain about how to move forward. He starts to believe that his emotions may be causing problems for those around him. In an attempt to cope, he resolves to maintain the role of a childhood friend. However, pretending to ignore his feelings proves more difficult than he anticipated.
