A high school sophomore in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture, Saki Irie encounters a mysterious man who rescues her from a troubling situation one night. Drawn by lights over the Kitakami River, she finds herself at an enigmatic cafe. The coffee there blends the bittersweet experiences of life. The story is set in Ishinomaki, several years after a disaster, and is created by local author Akio Tanaka.
