A new student, Sawa Konishi, joins a high school that was formerly all-male. On her first day, she attempts to connect with Akira Nagashima, the only other girl in her class. The rest of the class consists of boys who disregard authority and act out. Sawa hopes to make school enjoyable, but faces challenges, especially with Ran, the class leader, who gives her trouble. Additional one-shots included in the series are "Endless March," "Home, Sweet Home," and "Brown Garden Eki."
