Roman Gousha

A severe crop failure in the early 1900s forces Narito to travel to Tokyo in search of work to support his ailing wife and children. With few employment opportunities, he must appeal emotionally to Tsuzuki to secure a job. However, Tsuzuki's expectations extend beyond basic cleaning duties, trapping Narito in a situation from which he cannot easily escape.
