Roman ni Tsutaete

A collection of four short stories. In the first two, a woman works at a daycare or kindergarten, and her coworkers are unaware of her past as a feared female gang leader. She has a positive impression of a male coworker, but her past resurfaces when she encounters a former male gang leader. The second story is set in the same setting, focusing on a child who hides a secret from his classmates and his favorite teacher, who is the main character of the first story. The third story centers on a 16-year-old girl whose scientist father invents strange devices and claims to be from another planet. Her personal life is stable until two aliens arrive to investigate a phenomenon called the "Love disease," possibly linking to her father's claims.
