In 2030, a reactor meltdown occurs at a large research facility known as LABO, trapping nine individuals inside—three rescuers and six civilians. The facility is sealed until a system recovery is expected in nine hours, after which rescue efforts can resume. However, only enough radiation countermeasures are available for six of the trapped individuals.
