Chitose Morishige is a 12-year-old student with no friends. Her father, a professor, creates a robot named Ichika Robata to keep her company. The android is so realistic that Chitose thinks Ichika is a human who either ran away or was taken by her father. Ichika tries to reveal her true nature, but each attempt leads to comedic failures.
