In 1949, post-war Tokyo, the Japanese population faces uncertainty as they become a minority in their own country. They look to Primavera for hope in the future. Alan and Keith return from war to a changed Tokyo, no longer the city they remember. Despite their efforts to stay positive, they struggle to find purpose and motivation for a better future, weighed down by the challenges they face. The question remains whether Primavera will provide the answer not only for them but for the Japanese people as well.
