Roureville

Evan Pryce, a well-known journalist, has written an article that could win a Pulitzer Prize. His success has earned him many enemies, and instead of hiding, he stays at his office, which is not a secure location for him. His editor insists he leave the city to cover a bizarre story about real ghost sightings in a remote village. Evan reluctantly agrees and travels through the Midwestern countryside in search of the town. After ten fruitless days, he nearly gives up until he spots a sign for "Roureville." Relieved, he heads there, unaware that his journey has only just begun.
