A former empress of the Pardinas Empire, Lilliette is killed by her lover and reborn as a slave girl seventeen years earlier. After attempting to die by provoking a noble, she awakens to find herself in the presence of Slarhan Bentiac, her political rival from her past life. Now a slave under his ownership, she begins a new existence. Slarhan, however, treats her with unexpected kindness and care.
