Hayama Honoka, a laid-back first-year student at Asaka High School, is unsure of her preferences and has not yet chosen a school club. Encouraged by her sometimes-aggressive childhood friend, Tomori, she considers joining one. During lunch, Honoka encounters Mizusawa Yuzuki, a quiet and awkward girl who is drawn to an old, unused part of the school. Yuzuki introduces Honoka to the Abandoned Building Club, which explores neglected locations like buildings, rooms, and stations. The club seeks to uncover the historical significance and overlooked beauty of these places. Honoka and Yuzuki meet Tachibana Mana, the club’s energetic vice president, and decide to join. The group focuses on visiting forgotten sites, examining their past through the remnants left behind.
