Rurouni Kenshin: Master of Flame·るろうに剣心・裏幕─炎を統べる─
A two-chapter manga released to coincide with the premiere of a two-part live-action film centered on the Kyoto battle. It highlights the encounter between Shishio Makoto and Yumi Komagata. The series also explains how Shishio established the Juppongatana, a group of warriors and assassins aimed at toppling the Japanese government in the original Rurouni Kenshin manga. The first two chapters are written by Watsuki Nobuhiro, while chapters three through eight are authored by Kurosaki Kaoru.
