Lance is bound to guard the gates of Heaven and Hell, tasked with deceiving souls to lead them to Hell. Telling the truth is forbidden, as it would erase him. His curse will end once he sends one final soul to Hell. However, his mission is complicated when the soul of someone he cares about arrives at the gates for judgment.
