Sabikui Bisco

A post-apocalyptic Japan is covered in dry, sandy terrain, where a wind spreads a plague that leaves only rust behind, affecting both living and inanimate objects. Mushroom spores are thought to be responsible for the devastation. Bisco Akaboshi, an outlaw archer known as the "Man-Eating Mushroom," shoots arrows that cause mushrooms to grow wherever they land. Despite his criminal reputation, he is actually a "Mushroom Protector," working to restore the land by spreading fungi.
