Misao transfers to a new school and faces bullying from classmates. Her situation changes when Sae, a highly popular and talented girl, shows interest in being friends with her. The bullying ceases, and Misao enjoys her sudden popularity. However, Sae's behavior becomes increasingly controlling, limiting Misao's social interactions and time. As the friendship turns oppressive, Misao receives help from someone attempting to assist her in escaping the toxic dynamic. Whether she can recover remains uncertain.
