A spin-off of the SaeKano light novel series, this story centers on the developing relationship between celebrated author Kasumigaoka Utaha and ordinary otaku Aki Tomoya. After a fan event for the work "Love Metronome," Aki is drawn into a connection with Utaha, eventually becoming her unofficial assistant at school. The narrative explores their dynamic through 12 additional short stories and concludes with an epilogue.
