A high school teacher desires a quiet, reclusive life, but his new neighbor is his longtime rival, Hashigami. From the moment Hashigami moves in, he disrupts the teacher's peace. Hashigami is charismatic, well-liked, smart, athletic, and attractive, yet he persistently torments the teacher. As expected, Hashigami quickly becomes a major nuisance. When the teacher believes the situation has reached its worst point, Hashigami begins working at the same school.
