A group called the “Royal Order for the Prevention of Dangerous Invasive Species” was created to defend people from dangerous creatures. It is a low-status job with no recognition for the knights involved. Orcs and other creatures keep appearing no matter how many are killed, pay remains stagnant, and the coworkers are eccentric. The story follows a top swordsman from a non-elite background who works as a low-ranking knight, killing orcs daily in a unit nicknamed the "pig-hunting squadron."
