Saiyaku ni Shite Madowazu

Masato is a chef at a local restaurant when he runs into Mitsukuni, an old classmate who spills coffee on him and hastily leaves, leaving Masato with a cleaning fee and an unpleasant mood. Mitsukuni also takes Masato’s wallet, containing all his money and keys. They meet again at the restaurant, where Masato recalls their high school days, but Mitsukuni barely remembers him. After Masato’s home is destroyed by fire, Mitsukuni is persuaded by Masato’s coworkers to let him stay. Living together, new aspects of their relationship begin to emerge.
