A group consisting of Genjou Sanzo, Son Goku, Sha Gojyo, and Cho Hakkai is called upon by the Heavenly Lords of Sanbutsushin to prevent the resurrection of the malevolent youkai Gyuumao. This manga serves as the pilot chapter and doujinshi for *Gensomaden Saiyuki*, created by Kazuya Minekura while part of the group Studio Backgammon.
