A high school student, Amahiko, avoids sports after a baseball game in middle school where he made a costly mistake that cost his team the championship. His cousin and teacher, Misato, enlists him in the school's archery team, believing it could help him move past his fear. Unlike team sports, archery pits competitors against themselves rather than others. Amahiko initially struggles, unable to overcome his internal doubts. However, after confronting his past failures and accepting his mistakes, he begins to show promise as an archer. This experience leads him to change his resolve—not to avoid competition, but to never lose to himself again.
