Sakura no Hana ga Saku Koro ni

Kaoru Usami remains emotionally trapped by the death of Professor Katsuragi, and his distant behavior makes him seem unapproachable to others. His student, Takumi Nanase, expresses a desire to work with him, showing open affection that begins to thaw Kaoru’s guarded demeanor. However, Kaoru becomes conflicted, seeing in Takumi echoes of the person he once loved. Takumi has his own motivations for seeking the position, and as their lives become more entangled, the two navigate the complex emotions that arise.
