Kusanagi Naoya experienced the early loss of his mother and struggled to cope while his father, a traveling painter, was often absent. His childhood friend, Misakura Rin, provided support until she moved away during elementary school. Now in high school, Naoya is dealing with the recent death of his father and finds it difficult to connect with others. As his situation seems to worsen, a new transfer student arrives in his class, potentially changing the course of his life.
