Sakura Taboo

Police sergeant Satsuki Rena is tasked with meeting her new commanding officer, Sakurama Shinobu, known as the "Destroyer" for a pattern of bringing down those above him. She finds him unexpectedly amiable and unremarkable in appearance. Shortly after his arrival, the officer in charge at his new station is fatally shot in a manner mirroring a past assassination attempt from nearly two decades earlier. Though the incident appears unrelated to Sakurama, it fuels existing doubts about him. When the chief inspector discourages him from investigating the case, it instead intensifies his curiosity. As he digs deeper, he questions everyone, including fellow officers. The investigation leads to unknown revelations.
