Sekina is a teenager known for her impulsive behavior and inability to think beyond the immediate future. Her academic performance concerns her teachers, and her home life with her single mother is strained. The only place she feels at ease is at a local rock cafe, where she meets Yanagi. Yanagi recognizes the emotional struggles she hides and develops feelings for her. Their connection continues until Sekina unexpectedly encounters Yanagi again, this time in an unfamiliar role as her substitute teacher.
