Yu-Chan, the elder sibling, performs well academically, while his younger brother Yu-Jae is indifferent to school. Their mother Ji-Won feels reassured when Yu-Jae begins to connect with his tutor, Mi-Ra. However, her sense of relief is shattered when she receives a letter from Mi-Ra stating, "I write to you regarding my murder of your son."
