Satou Gashi no Ie

A girl named Elsie is surprised when her childhood friend Richard shows up at school with a baby he says is his daughter. He is 17 and claims to be a widower determined to raise the child. Questions remain about what happened during their time apart, the identity of the child's mother, and why he broke his promise to marry Elsie. In another story, Aoi still hopes her first love, Nobo, who vanished at sea seven years ago, is alive. His younger brother Yuu has stayed close to her, and the question is whether Aoi will ever accept his love. Another narrative follows Mamoru, a school leader admired for his good looks and sense of justice, who is affected by the arrival of Midori, a free-spirited girl who reminds him of his late sister. Lastly, Simon, one of thirteen siblings, moves to live with his uncle Michel in the French countryside to escape the crowded home. Meanwhile, Susumu disapproves of his sister Chiyoko's fiancé named Bon.
