A vampire who cannot consume blood due to a deep fear is drawn to a patisserie by the scent of something appealing. There, he is given a cake by a baker testing new recipes. Though thankful for the gesture, the vampire is overwhelmed by the baker’s blood aroma and bites him. The collection includes six short stories, each with supernatural or eerie themes, such as haunted locations and unusual encounters involving sweets and otherworldly beings.
