Yumiko grows uneasy after witnessing her mother smile during her father's funeral. Soon after, her mother begins a relationship with a younger man and plans to marry him. Tensions rise when Yumiko and her best friend spend time at a family cottage with her mother and the new partner. Meanwhile, Lilia occasionally sees future events reflected in a mirror.
