Satsujinki Series
殺人鬼シリーズ
Two short stories are set in a world where individuals called Killer Demons have each developed a unique method of killing. Each story centers on a different character's experience with one of these figures. The first, Killer Queen and Deep End, was submitted for a Dengeki contest but did not win prior to the release of Toaru Majutsu no Index. It was published in 2004, likely influenced by the success of that series. The second, Killer Device and Never End, was written and released in 2005, following the popularity of the first story.
