Tanaka Saya had worked hard to gain admission to Rinran Academy, a school she had always wanted to attend. However, after achieving this goal, she finds herself without direction as her classmates pursue their own ambitions. Feeling lost during her first semester, she often visits the campus rose garden, where she meets Mr. Motoyawata, a quiet teacher who tends to the flowers and is not respected by the students. Through her time there, Saya begins to mature and subtly affects those around her.
