Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

A teacher named Nozomu Itoshiki struggles with severe depression and suicidal thoughts. Despite his mental state, he is popular among his students, a group of girls each with distinct personalities and behaviors. These include a stalker, a reclusive student, someone with obsessive-compulsive tendencies, a girl who regularly appears with unexplained bruises, and Kafuka, who maintains an unwaveringly positive outlook. The students believe they have found a teacher who can positively influence their lives. However, Itoshiki, known as Zetsubou-sensei, is primarily focused on finding a suitable place to end his life.
