Seigi Kenkyuukai Serenade

Five individuals underwent surgical modifications to prepare for an alien invasion that never arrived, based on a warning from a decade prior. In the intervening years, Serena, a justice-oriented hero, and Souya, her companion and assistant, have used their abilities to defend the vulnerable and combat threats. When not engaged in such duties, Serena attempts to attract romantic interests while Souya occupies himself with anime figurines. The unexpected return of a childhood friend introduces the possibility of change, though it remains uncertain whether anything will actually shift.
