Two coworkers, Chiharu and Maki, have been laid off from their jobs and spend time drinking to cope. During this time, they are transported to a different world where they are tasked with clearing miasma. They set out on a journey with the goals of finding alcohol, good food, and ideally, a reliable romantic partner.
