Seirei Gensouki

A young man named Amakawa Haruto died before reconnecting with his missing childhood friend. Separately, a boy named Rio, who grew up in the slums seeking revenge for his mother's murder, exists in a different world. For unknown reasons, Haruto's memories and personality are revived within Rio's body. As they struggle with their merging identities, Rio, now influenced by Haruto, chooses to adapt to this new reality. Along with Haruto's memories, Rio gains an unfamiliar "special power," potentially offering a better life. Before this can unfold, Rio stumbles upon a kidnapping involving two princesses from the Bertram Kingdom. After rescuing them, Rio earns a scholarship to the Royal Academy, an institution for the wealthy and influential. Adjusting as a poor orphan among nobles proves to be a difficult and unwelcome experience.
