Fresia, a simple village girl who wears glasses, finds herself pursued by Erwin the Brave, the most powerful hero in the world. When she seeks help from others, they only praise her instead of assisting. After fleeing the village, Erwin locates her using his clairvoyance and drags her into a date, threatening global peace if she resists. With little skill in combat, she attempts to train to defend herself. Erwin offers her a choice: fall in love with him or fight him, turning the situation into a competition.
